Jobsite Demo 2012

JobsiteDemo is a new exhibition event created to provide a venue for heavy equipment and attachment manufacturers to demo their products and services.  Currently in planning stages, JobsiteDemo is scheduled to debut in the spring of 2012.  This will be an opportunity for Washington and Oregon contractors to get a first hand look at a variety of construction products and services before they buy. 

At JobsitDemo 2012, contractors will be able to examine and even operate the equipment on display thereby allowing for educated investments.  JobsiteDemo will also be a great opportunity for regional manufacturers and contractors to meet and strengthen the bonds of our construction community. 

This blog was created to invite any and all useful ideas that you can contribute to make this event both successful and productive for exhibitor and contractors alike.  You can submit your ideas by email to alasdair@constructiongang.com or by responding to the growing number of posts on this blog.

CRC Construction

I just received an email from Ken Piper at McDonald Excavation.  He said that the land next to the fairgrounds is owned by Mike Defreze of CRC Construction.

Food & Beverage

If there are companies out there interested in setting up food and beverage please let us know.  The plan is to have an event Saturday night to include dinner and drinks.  We will also have a live band and or comedian for the evening. Brandon at Dublin Down in Vancouver is interested in the beverage side.

Clark County Fairgrounds

I met with people from the Clark County Fairgrounds but the only downside is their lack of space for demo work.  There is around five acres to the west of the fairgrounds but this does not belong to the fairgrounds. Does anybody know who owns this land?
